Archives Awareness Week

The Friends of the City of Ottawa Archives accepted the proclamation from Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson to mark Archives Awareness Week April 2-8, 2012.

Heritage Day at Ottawa City Hall

Tuesday, February 21, 2012 will be the annual Heritage Day celebration, hosted by the City of Ottawa and the Council of Heritage Organizations in Ottawa. The event starts at 11:30 am at 110 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa, with a presentation by the Mayor at noon. Local history and heritage-related groups, including FCOA, will have displays set up to showcase their organizations and endeavours. Come say hello.
